Ingredients
l cup slivered almonds
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 Tbsp light corn syrup
Line sides of 8 or 9 inch pan with aluminum foil. Put butter on the aluminum foil: set aside. Combine all ingredients and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil until mixture turns golden brown, about 5 or 6 minutes: until it reaches the hard crack stage on candy thermometer. Work quickly and spread candy in pan. Cool and break into pieces. Enjoy!
